Centre County BFBL features the highly anticipated, annual Farm Tour, which culminates the Centre County Local Foods Week. Throughout the week, events are hosted at area farmers markets, including music, cooking demos and tasting, and activities for the kids. On Saturday, the Farm Tour provides access to farms around the region, with farm fresh products available for saie. See livestock up close, take a look inside a milking house, or just wander around the beatiful gardens! The Farm Tour also offers a lower ticket price for individuals who see the tour by bike.
Local Foods Week 2009 will be August 3rd through 8th, with the 4th Annual Centre County Farm Tour on Saturday, August 8th!
