Judith Focareta RN, MEd, Coordinator Environmental Health Initiatives, Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC
Patricia DeMarco, Ph.D., Executive Director, Rachel Carson Homestead Association

Audience Q&A is a very important part of this program.
We'll also be showing FRESH, the movie produced and directed by ana Sofia joanes. FRESH celebrates the farmers, thinkers and business people across America who are re-inventing our food system. Each has witnessed the rapid transformation of our agriculture into an industrial model, and confronted the consequences: food contamination, environmental pollution, depletion of natural resources, and morbid obesity. Forging healthier, sustainable alternatives, they offer a practical vision for a future of our food and our planet.
Parking is available at the Carnegie Science Center.
Light snacks will be served. Although this is a FREE event, registration is required.
The Healthy Choices Workshop series consists of four events planned for 2010 through a collaboration between the Rachel Carson Homestead Association, Center for Environmental Oncology-UPCI and Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC
