About Blackberry Meadows Farm
Blackberry Meadows Farm is a certified organic 85 acre farm located in Fawn Township, just a half hour drive from downtown Pittsburgh! Newly transitioned to a group of young farmers, Blackberry Meadows is in full swing. Our organic vegetables (and soon to be fruits) are accessible to the public through our Community Supported Agriculture ( CSA ) program, through local farmers markets (Farmers at the FIrehouse in the strip, and Monroeville Gateway market) and at the East End Food Coop. We have three drop off locations in Monroeville and Fox Chapel (Saturdays) and Greenfield/Squirrel Hill (Wednesdays) as well as on farm pickup on Wednesdays. Our seasons runs, on average, for 20 weeks with an optional Winter Share extension. As an added feature, we offer pasture raised chickens (broilers) and farm fresh eggs from free range hens from our farm! You can also order pastured beef, and purchase organic grains, locally crafted beverages, honey and hand made soaps while picking up your share in the barn. Sign up for an on-farm pickup and enjoy the added benefits of visiting our general store in the barn and participating in farm demos and workshops. All members are invited to join us on the farm for our annual spring potluck picnic and farm tour!
