About Red Cat Farm

Red Cat Farm is a 1 1/2 acre farm that uses sustainable, chemical free methods of growing, with season extension in passive solar greenhouses raising greens and herbs using only the sun as a heat source, and outside bed production during spring, summer, and fall growing vegetables, herbs, and greens.

Spring vegetable and herb bedding plant sales at The Mill in Germansville, 7130 Bake Oven Road, Germansville, 18053 start this year on Thursday, April 12. Bedding plants are raised on manure and straw-heated hot beds, using a compost based potting mix. Heirloom, open pollinated, and hybrid varieties are offered in tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, cole crops, squash, pumpkins, zucchini, cucumbers, rhubarb, horseradish, medicinal herbs, culinary herbs, and unusual plants such as cotton, tobacco, some dyeing herbs, broom corn, loofa gourds.
