About Wild Rose Farm
Wild Rose Farm is located in the rolling hills of Southwestern Pennsylvania's Beaver County. Our fine wooled Rambouillet & Dorset ewes are managed in an intensive grazing system and lamb in the spring on pasture. We sell lambs for breeding stock and also as freezer lambs. Our Rambouillet wool yarm comes in sport weight & worsted weight 2-ply skeins and is hand dyed with beautiful natural dyes. Our yarn is "next to the skin soft" and can be purchased in individual skeins. We show our fleeces & have soft Rambouillet combed top for handspinning & felting. Our ewes spend most of the year out on pasture and the cleanliness shows in the wool - no chaff, straw, or burrs! Perfect to knit, spin, felt, crochet, or craft. We also have lofty Dorset wool quilting batts for a special quilt .....
Open year round on the farm. Please call ahead to be sure we're available. Wool and yarn products are also sold off farm at various shows and festivals. Watch events schedule for times and dates! Email me with your address for a copy of our Spring Newsletter via snail mail.
